Views & dashboards

A view is a repeatable window onto your tasks: which tasks it shows (its filters), how they're grouped and ordered, and which layout draws them. The Tasks page, every project's and label's task list, and every saved view all work the same way — and the whole setup can be written as a line of text in the query bar.

A dashboard is a grid of charts over your tasks, filtered the same way.
